GRAMMAR PRACTICE.

  1. Go HERE to practise PASSIVE VOICE.

3.  Causative verb forms are used to talk about getting something done by somebody else.

  • I got my hair cut in the morning. 
  • You must have your hair washed. 
  • You must get that carpet cleaned.
Causative forms are also possible with make. Causative forms of make often imply the idea that somebody has a certain authority over somebody else. We use the  infinitive without to.
  • I made him do the homework.
  • He made her cook dinner.
  • She made me accompany her.

Improving your language, also means learning and putting into practice new/more vocabulary. Systematic study of lexis enhances learning of, among others, specific vocabulary.

PORTFOLIO:
  • browse the book
  • choose between 35 & 40 (at least!) excercises/quizzes/games from the index (DIFFERENT TYPES).
  • solve them and paste them onto your portfolio.
  • make sure you have the correct answers (check KEY)
  • choose a specific lexical area, something new, something you want to revise...
  • add bibliographical reference
  • include a NEW index/table of contents
    • IMPORTANT: perhaps you like the vocabulary items but you don't like the quizz/excercise, game that comes with it. Feel free to change it or adapt it.
